I'm not sure why I was accepted, it's just important to make good grades and have great test scores. Simply, it's important to minimize bad factors and give yourself every chance to impress the admissions staff.

Apply early. I didn't apply until April when I visited with a friend from another college who was here for a soccer tournament. I had a 1430 SAT, a 3.5 GPA, AP classes and was in the magnet program at a magnet high school. I had many quality extra-curriculars and received a Coca-Cola scholarship. I was asked to wait until 2nd semester to come to CU. I was told to attend a local college 1st semester and that I must have a 3.0 GPA to enter Clemson 2nd semester.

Study hard. But, number 1: Be yourself. Have a good attitude. Visit the campus, definatley a must do! If you want to get in as a transfer student keep your gpa up. 3.5 to 4.0 provisional acceptance almost always guaranteed. need based....dont worry. very beautiful. Small classes means you will absorb more. Experientials...FUN. Dont be fooled by its size. you will have fun. Kayaking and much more.

Your GPA and class rank are extremely important. SAT/ACT scores are also important, but you don't have to have a super high score to get in. They look at your extracurriculars too, because they want to bring in students that are going to be involved in the university.
